Gryphon PowerZone

Post by paulCJ »

I have been lucky enough to borrow a Gryphon PowerZone from a friend, and the difference that thing makes is......nice.
Vocals sound cleaner and more vibrant, there's more space around individual instruments. There's more air. This stupid box has taken my system to another level, and everything became bland and less exciting when I temporarily took the borrowed PZ out of the system.

Very cool. I would love to try one but the price tag of $14k for the 20 amp version is pretty hefty. In general, Gryphon makes some incredible gear.

Yes, it is a hefty price. Will not be happy when I have to give the PZ back to a friend.
This thing is a truly wonderful power optimizer, as Rune from Gryphon prefers to call it, and it really enhances the CJ GAT-S2 preamp.
