Greetings from Western Norway
Greetings from Western Norway
Longtime C-J owner here, from the suburbs of Bergen, Norway. I have owned a lot of different C-J equipment over the last 25 years, PV 10, Premier 10. Premier 15, Premier 17 and ART preamps, MV 125, MV 60 Evolution 2000 and Premier 8 amplifiers. Some years ago we moved to a smaller house, and our living room became unbearably hot with all those tubes. My solution was to go for transistorised amplification:
Still loving the C-J sound with 2 Premier 350 SA amps, one in champagne and one with black faceplate.

Det er weldig pent. Jeg lyker hunden som lyker Grieg. Welkommen til CJO.
Bergen’s not terribly cold (Gulf Stream), so maybe you won’t miss the tube amps. I’ve moved on to solid state too.
Love the horns.

Greetings from Down Unda and welcome to CJO. Exactly what AJ said... I think.
Oh! Nice one with the Prem350 amplifiers, since they're different colours, easy to recognise between L & R !
That must be some very loud and proud tunes... Premier 350's driving Horn type speakers, look out Charlie!!! There goes the roof.
Either way, I'm sure you're enjoying the music.
That deserves a mighty WOOF!
Cheers, RJ

Welcome. Great to have you with us here at CJO. Wonderful setup. Top of the line vinyl setup but looks like you play digital to. Great looking system that looks optimally set up in a difficult listening space. Very cool.

Those are not actually horns BTW, what you see on the top are Manger drivers.

Oh! I can see clearly now. After many decades of no specs... only now started to use glasses. Hot damn! I can see very easily now, and my ear-sight is even better. Ha!
BTW, just noticed the Manley Labs preamp. With CJ & Manley, the tunes are fine!
Also, that black fluffy thingy rolling on your carpet... is that a cat?
Maybe I'm seeing weird things after these binoculars.
Woof! RJ

Sorry, no dog! You will have to make do with a very relaxed cat.AnotherJohnson wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 5:15 pm So much hunden. Sigh…. I guess the cat adds a few Sabines.
-Beklager, ingen hunder her, men vi har hatt katter i snart 50 år.

Tilgi meg, men jeg tror at katten ser ut som en stor svart hund.
