Oh sorry admin, I’m a Dutchman. Final is an hour by car. And a Dutch LS is of course relatively cheap for me (import tax).
Well that changes things a little!
In that case, I think it makes Final a very fine option, and in terms of service, even easier than ML.
Not sure what the cost differences are between the ML 11a vs the Final 12 or 15? But presuming they are relatively equal and you are not craving an active woofer, sounds like maybe the Final is the better option.

Indeed the Final 12 plus is 13.000 euro and the Martin Logan must be around 16.600 euro in the Netherlands. I dont think a need a sub - I only play music.
Wow, that is a big markup. I think in the US the 11a is $12k USD. Over $18k USD makes it a much harder sell. Although I have to say it is a very nice sounding speaker. I did extensive listening on the 11a at my local audio shop the other year.

I use my Premier 11a to drive large Wilson Maxx 2s and have no worries about loudness - lots of punch. This thread makes me want to hump it upstairs and try it on my original Martin Logan CLS! Been using a large Classe DR3 VHC to run them.
Would be interesting to see. The Classe is nice vintage unit but I think only about 25 watts output. But I always feel like quality watts is more important that quantity watts.

Holy! Smackeroons! Is that an amp or what??? Looks like the next mission to the moon, look out Elon Musk, get out of the way Muski... here comes some serious rocket launching. Yep, that Classe' amp is definitely no where in the making today. In fact, as I was just learning about Classe' on another forum, seems like the company is pretty much long gone. It has changed ownership several times and now just comprises of two units and a preamp, that's it! The Delta series, which in fact, I have auditioned with ML's stats. They're quite remarkable, not too sure how long the brand will sustain.
That DR3-VHC is actually Class A output if I'm correct, so 25 to 30w is more than enough to handle difficult loads. Reminds me of the new Pass Labs XA series, which I absolutely love. Their smallest one is a stereo version, XA30.8 (just 30w of Pure Class A all the way) drives CLX's beautifully! Then there's the XA60.8, 100.8, 160.8 & 200.8. Yep, 200w pure Class A, those things are massive! That kind of power is totally ridiculous but there are those who demand the very best and want to drive their speakers to the max possible in terms of overall high fidelity. I guess that's why D'Agostino still makes those mighty Relentless amps, another massive affair. The Progression series is just as big but those Relentless monoblocks are something else!

Good on them!
Cheers, RJ
I may be missing a link. I’ve read this thread searching for the monster amp, but I’m not finding it. Could you provide a link?
