I agree. If you are not in need of balance adjustment then there is no reason to take the risk of sound degradation by installing this. I sometimes wonder how common it is to actually use a balance control? I've never had one set off center in any system I owned.

None of these suggestions match my efforts.
The orig balance pot reads 10k or 250k in middle position, and is reversed.
Ive purchased and tried both MN taper and Audio taper. Bourns MN taper reads 30k/250k in middle position, and Bourns audio taper gives 30k/250k in middle position.
