Premier 11 ( 4 ohm ?)

New here ... not technically proficient : visually adept.
Is there a visual set of clues that would indicate if my Premier 11 is set up for 4 ohms ? I gather this was the default setting unless specified otherwise. Any and all help greatly appreciated.

First, welcome to CJO.

If you go to the troubleshooting section of our forum, the sticky post at the top will allow you download our schematic files. There is a wiring diagram for the resistance settings for both the premier 11 and 12 (as it is the same for both). You can then compare and see how it is configured.

I'm sure you are aware, but do not run the amp without load attached.

I'll look at schematics and see if they make any sense to me . Not my forte'.

No problem. It's really just matching the color of the wires so not even a typical schematic so you should be all set.

If the unit wasn't altered, it should be wired for 4 ohm by default.

The feedback resistor value is different for each output configuration.
