Nice tutorial. I wish I saw this before I bought my RCA with locking plug from Calabrine. It is not too expensive and they look good too. But I think DIY really give self satisfaction knowing its quality and build.

They can convert it to SE including CJ teflon capacitors, cardas connectors, and vishay resistors. CJ technician told me it is probably will cost me around $600.00. I just need to send it to them. One of this day.

CJ Classic is my first tube pre-amp. I matched it with Chinese made Ming-Da 75. These two are my first. One of this day, I will send my CJ for upgrade. Trying to get the most from this baby.

These two matched each other very well. I really love them. I always wanted to send my pre for the upgrade. One of this day. Just wondering how much improvement will I hear.
