I have read that CJ does a mod on the LP140M To accept other 6922 tubes. What is this mod and is it something I can do without shipping the amps to Virginia?

Thanks for the replies. I did some reading from the earlier posts and thought maybe someone had tried the KT-150's and they worked out OK. I like the KT-120's, but like most audiophiles, always get the itch to try something better.

What is the latest school of thought on using KT-150's in older CJ amplifiers, particularly the Premier 140? Currently running KT-120's, but would like to experiment with KT-150's.
