Welcome to CJO, great to have you with us!
Those CJ units bring back wonderful memories. I also owned the Evolution 2000 amp as well as the PF2. Glorious vintage CJ. The EV2000 was one unique massive beast. Just wonderful, happy listening!

Re: Hickok 752A tube tester with manual and data books
So I definitely don't need this as I don't have that many spare tubes, but it's so cool. AJ, how difficult/complex is the operation. Do you really have to have a lot of knowledge to take meaningful measurements or is it pretty "simple?" Are the instructions geared to somebody that may not know that ...

Re: CAV 50 Troubleshooting
Are you sure the other tubes were ok and not damaged?
I would also do a good visual inspection of the internals looking for any signs of obvious damage, burn marks, bulging caps, etc. I would also just check all the fuses.

Ha, I wish I could take my ART monoblocks with me when I travel but they weight more than the luggage allowance! The biggest downside of travel is having to leave one's stereo at home.

That link worked. Yes, very cool stuff. Almost hypnotic how the vocals overlap.

Nope. Still the same error that says it's unavailable.
Looks like it is region blocked: https://views4you.com/tools/youtube-res ... 3IzFq16F5U

The video link doesn't work, "video unavailable." Perhaps it's region locked? So many interesting varieties of music from around the world. One of the reasons I enjoy traveling is to explore different cultures and listen to their native folk music. I must admit that I don't always enjoy the actual ...

First and foremost, welcome to CJO. Great to have you with us. I've owned both Schiit and magnepan gear and I think they offer some amazing bang for the buck. I would say that the Magnepan LRS (and now "+" version) is probably the best sounding sub $1k speaker in the world. Schiit also offers some ...

Re: New Member in Charleston, SC
Very interesting take on the KT150 vs KT120. My ART amps are running on the KT120's and I really enjoy the sound. I have not had the opportunity to compare them to the ART150/300's. I have heard some tube amps that have run on KT150 and they did sound a little more "sterile" but I wasn't sure if ...

Welcome to CJO. Great to have you with us.
The PF-R is a solid unit. Basic but solid. You can do a search for "pfr" and get some hits here on CJO.
If looking to sell, we have a Classifieds section on the site and you can post it there.
Again, welcome to CJO.

I appreciate the pictures. Great to see such high end gear. It makes me happy to see these shows still thriving in the current world of "order everything online without any audition."
I only wish I could have seen/listened to these systems in person myself.

Really some amazing gear. Looks like you took pictures from a screen, but even with the low quality they are really something. That's some big-time gear with prices to match. I would love to demo some of that gear if given the chance.

Very nice. Truly an exceptional system by the look of it. 3,000+ LP's is a massive collection. Congrats on that. I love LP but have gravitated more to streaming just because of it's ease, convenience, massive library, and instant access to just about every new release.
Again, wonderful setup.

An absolutely gorgeous system. Paul McGowan at PS Audio is so proud of those speakers. Very nice.

Re: Conrad Johnson PV10B Tube preamp with Phono
All CJ gear can be converted to run on 230v. The power supply does need to be rewired however. We have some of these wiring schematics in our database but not specifically for the PV10. Not sure if the wire colors are the same?

Re: CJ PV10 AL
Welcome to CJO, Ulissess22. Good to have you with us. We do have the PV10 schematics in our database so you may want to look at that, but I do not believe the exact make and model of the volume pot is listed. I would also think that after 30-35 years, it's unlikely that they still make that specific ...
