Welcome to CJO, great to have you with us!
Looks like an amazing system with some top notch CJ gear. I'm a big fan of Sonus Faber as they make some truly excellent speakers.
Again, welcome.

Re: Recent Website Reliability Problems
Looks like the AI bots are back. They have been hitting forum sites rather aggressively in the last few weeks. I have added extensive IP blocks and noticed that the guest user count has dropped by 95% so they seem to be working. Of course it's always a "cat and mouse game" but we should be doing ok ...

The computer I am typing from is a windows7 machine, and I do not see where to upload photos from this computer.
Am guessing your computer is an older one, like mine.

Parks Audio Puffin Phono Preamp Review
As I have noted in previous posts, I use a ELP laser turntable. There are some unique advantages to utilizing such a device over a traditional stylus/cartridge setup found on most turntables. Notably, there is no wear on the record with playback. One can also adjust the area of the groove that the ...

Re: Which used CJ amp to buy?
I own the CJ ART amps. So I have 16 KT120's in there. I think they are absolutely wonderful tubes and there is good tube availability for purchase. I think the prices have even dropped to a certain degree since their peek. I think the Tong Sol made ones are by far the most popular but there are ...

Roberto had difficulty posting some pictures and videos and asked me to help put them on the site so people can see the progression of the house build.

If you are looking at new units. You can contact CJ directly and I'm sure they would provide any unit in any version for sale. If you have an authorized CJ dealer in the area, they may be able to help you out as well if you are looking for a specific unit version.

Re: New Member Looking for Insight and Advice
If the budget allows, then always try to go with the SE edition.
Nothing wrong with an MV75. The advantage is that it's going to be way way less expensive. It may give you more of a "tube sound" if that is what you are looking for. The downside is that you are buying a 45 year old unit. If that ...

Re: New Member Looking for Insight and Advice
It should work absolutely fine with the f208's. Those have a sensitivity of 88 db. Unless you plan to blast them at maximum volume you will not experience any clipping. Also, one of the positives with tube amps is that even if you reach clipping levels (which is very unlikely), it's a slow cut off ...

In that case, definitely take a look at the Classic 62. BTW, I think it will be plenty of power. It's quality vs quantity watts in my opinion.

Very exciting! I hope your health is being "built up" as quickly as the house! I'm sure it's very exciting to see it slowly take shape and getting closer to the finish date each day. Keep us up to date!

Not sure if this is helpful but there is a good high resolution picture of the board here: https://theartofsound.net/forum/showthr ... amp-SA-250
Perhaps you can look for the mod differences between your unit and the picture.

Use this calculator to give you the resistor values: https://www.digikey.com/en/resources/co ... color-code
I can't tell you by looking at the picture as the colors are always a little hard to tell with photos and I'm partially color blind!

Re: "Placeholder" tubes for rarely used phono stage PV10
Try to find a compatible solid state tube replacement. Should last "about forever". I wouldn't use bad tubes as they can cause voltage overloads and blow fuses.
Like this for example: https://amt-sales.com/other/tubes/12ax7ws-le/
