SS Preamp Out Into CAV 45S2

Post by Paolo »

On a whim, I connected the pre-out from my Luxman 550 AXii to the CAV 45S2. This works great. I have volume control, balance control, loudness, a phono stage, and if I want, tone controls. I would say that the synergy is excellent. My Guarneri Homage have never sounded better in my home. I'll spare you the audiophile cliches and descriptors. I am extremely :D

The 550 has an awesome early 80's design. Love the silver with big VU meters.

I confess to being emotionally attached to the LUX on many levels. :)
