Hola Vick,
If I was going to buy one of them, I will do my best for the newer, the MV60SE. SE stands for Special Edition. This means that the MV-60SE can drive the 6550s tubes. It looks that both amps sound great, and the newer is the MV60SE.
Happy listening!

I would agree that the later models are better choices based on my own listening preferences.

Re: Premier eleven vs MV60SE
The MV60SE replaced the following:
MV55, MV75, and Premier 11A. It was the first of CJ's power amplifiers to use the wide bandwidth trannys used only in CJ's Premier standard amplifiers. Its power supplies and trannys are capable of high current, and infact it doesn't sound like a 60w amp at all. Sounds more on the level of 100w but that's due to its power supplies.
The Premier 11A is a very good amplifier without a doubt but it has its limits. I used a pair of older Maggie's with it for a while, the MG3.5's. On certain passages the Premier 11A ran out of steam... but not the MV60SE. That basically explains high current demand, so it's not all about watts.
You'll be just fine with the MV60SE, although it looks bit funny with that fin sticking out... whereas the Premier 11A is a true CJ tube classic!
Based on looks, I would go for the Premier 11A, based on sonic performance, I would recommend the MV60SE.
Which factor would you base your decision on?
Cheers, RJ
