Hi. How good was the Premier 14 and which PV model was it most comparable to sonically?

The Prem14 was based on CJ's "Premier" line. It's design is based on Premier standards, such that nearly every component is quite different to any other series back then...
The PV series was CJ's first introduction to offer highend audio to the wider market but it's not based on Premier standards. Hence, there's no comparison between the two series.
That's like comparing the Toyota brand of cars: the average Toyota Camry- great car but it's no comparison to a Lexus. The Lexus line is built without compromise and it's a totally different approach. Similarly, Honda's NSX cannot be compared to any other Honda model. The NSX is one of a kind (btw I would certainly like to have one, that's if I manage to get in & out of one without having two people to help...!)
