Re: My setup
Nice. I really like the Tannoy speakers. Had the opportunity to audition them awhile back. It also has that great 70's retro look.

Re: My setup
I loved the Thorens + SME + Shure set up.
It’s just stuff. I like mine. I hope you like yours. I probably like yours too.
Re: My setup
Hola Ennbar,
My very first speaker set was Tannoy. They were the type with the tweeter in the center of the woofer, a coax type as I recall. The woofer had 12" size, and a huge speaker cabinet, then I got the Altec Lansing Voice Of The Theatre 500. Early 70s, and my power amps were Fisher. I got the left over of my dad's system (the Jensen Imperial) when I started with this beloved hobby. He was at that time a McIntosch owner. At that time, the McIntosch reputation started to grow big...the thing is, he had a Thorens with the SME and the Shure V15 type III. What a memories...
Great stuff, and early hi-end entry level for me...the overall quality sound started to grow.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy listening!

Re: My setup
+1 on the Tannoys. I especially like them in recording studio. Used the large ones with the 15"woofer and concentric mid/tweeter horn.
