I recently change my power amp, but the Noise level of the system increases a lot, may be double the level when using my old power amp.
only when i mute the ET3SE, noise disappears,
What is the possible source of noise problem ?
Noise Problem of ET3SE
Re: Noise Problem of ET3SE
Hola and welcome Alanlaw805,
Your problem is a bad tube 6922 or E88CC into the preamp ET-3SE. Change the tube at the preamp, and problem solved.
Happy listening!

Re: Noise Problem of ET3SE
Yes ... bad tube. My ET3SE was hard on the tube. I had to replace it about once a year.
It’s just stuff. I like mine. I hope you like yours. I probably like yours too.
