Do you know how old the tubes are and do you have any spares? Has the unit been serviced and if so, by whom? Thanks very much.

Tubes are very good. Bought about 1 year ago
They are Mullard NOS.

It has never been serviced.

I thought about sending it in for a service and to add a phono stage but never got around to it.

I don't have anything else that takes 8080s, so I'll throw in all the spares I have laying around as well.

I do love this pre, and to be completely honest, this has much more of the classic CJ sound than my ET3-SE.

I was running a standard ET3 into a CJ MV55 and I liked the pairing. Alas, the MV55 started to red-plate and I lost a number of my beloved EL34's so I returned both components for store credit. That led to my purchase of a Classic 62SE. Thanks for your kind offer of the spare 8080's. I'll do additional research and use PM to contact you if I decide to proceed.
