PV-10AL on/off switch

I am the opposite of whatever it is to be handy with electronics. I've had it for 18 years and its significantly upgraded. the only think I have ever done to it is change the tubes a few times.

Recently the on/off switch is is intermittently not staying on and I have to push it again again, or push and hold it over and over, to get it to finally "stick" depressed and on. I assume as the unit is pretty analog that it's fixable. How? Do you think CJ will still supply parts?

Hi John. Welcome to CJO.

CJ does not sell individual parts so I doubt you can order the switch. So that means you would need to remove it yourself to see if it can be repaired or replaced with an alternative. It should be easy to find an alternative toggle push switch.

Or you can send the unit to CJ for a formal replacement.

Hola jfk011,

Pinch the switch knob and pull it out with small force, this will make to place the contacts of the switch in the right position. You can spray to the switch liberally WD-40 to lubricate and clean the contacts and the moving parts of the switch.
