Not related specifically to CJ but I like to post my repair stories. I use an Onkyo TS-SR875 receiver for my home theater. I've had it for over 10 years and has served me well. I use a projector that is 1080p and don't have a Dolby Atmos setup so I currently don't need an upgrade. It was Onkyo's flagship receiver at the time and is an absolute beast.
Unfortunately, the display on it went a few weeks ago. I did some research and apparently this is common with the unit. Luckily, the fix is relatively easy if you know how to solder.
Followed the directions I found here: https://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-recei ... st15249416
Now it's working like a charm!

Glad it worked out. It's a nice receiver and this is a common failure,... luckily a correctable one.
