I have an old but good MV-45 amp along with the PV-12 pre-amp with built in phono stage.
My speakers are Spendor LS3/5 along with the Linn Turntable.
For an older system it sounds great. I had the premier 11 amp which I sold as it blew fuses which were
almost impossible to find. I love the CJ sound.
All the above I purchased used.

Very nice. I am running a PV-12 myself (line stage only though). I hear that the phono stage in the PV-12 is very good and you don't find too many units with the phono stage so that is a nice find.

I know mine sounds great with Linn Lp-12. no complaints here! I bought the 12 used looking for one with phono stage.
I have owned the 12 now for about 20yrs. with no problems! Actually I started my CJ journey with a high powered SS amp and a PFT-12 ss pre-amp.
Once I found the glory of tubes I got rid of those SS components and have gone tubed ever since!

I think you mean PF2? If so, that is funny because my first CJ unit was a PF2 and then I got the PV-12. Sounds like we are on the same journey!

Same thing happened to me...I started to listen SS and had big time journey using SS with many high end good brands. Now I am regretting all the time that I spent into that world. Tube sound is the best for my ears. And CJ sounds right!
