I saw an article from 2004 about a CJ prototype, the AVP-1, a universal disc player which was revealed at the same time as the MAP1 and MAP150.
Does anybody have any more info about it and why it was shelved?

Re: CJ AVP-1
I meant it was supposed to be a companion to the MET1 and MET150.

Related question: Does CJ have an archive or a museum to store and curate the prototypes that didn’t make it to production?
Supposedly ARC did have one at one time. A CJ archive would be a great place to spend an afternoon.

It’s just stuff. I like mine. I hope you like yours. I probably like yours too.

Wouldn't it be great to see/listen to the experiments that never made it to fruition?
