Cryo treatment of tubes
I’ve never paid for cryogenic treatment of tubes. I have used it on wear items and gun barrels. I can’t say I’ve ever noticed any startling improvements. What’s your experience?
It’s just stuff. I like mine. I hope you like yours. I probably like yours too.

Unfortunately none at this stage mate.
Many have told me it's a bit of fairy dust to be honest.
Anyone else with experience on it, please do let us know your thoughts and experience.

Never used cryo treated tubes. I did listen to cryo treated fuses. I couldn't hear any difference. But that's just me.

I participated in a double blind test in a room full of other interested audio geeks. A-B, back and forth, fast switch, then slow lingering intervals, everyone marking their cards privately so no one knew what anyone else claimed to hear. End result. 50/50. Meaning none of us heard bupkis.

Re: Cryo treatment of tubes
It seems like cryo treatment could potentially cause loss of vacuum since the coefficients of thermal expansion for tube wire and tube glass are so different. The difference would cause dimensional changes at the wire/glass interface for each pin. But in practice, this doesn’t come up.
