Hey now!
Back in 2001, after many years of mid-fi receivers and low-end speakers, an audiophile friend convinced me I was wasting my money and time trying to "upgrade" my system one component at a time (at least, the way I was doing it). I was skeptical, but set a budget for a complete system and asked what his favorite audio dealer could do with that. I ended up in a very happy place:
CD: Linn Ikemi (closeout priced!)
PRE: CJ PV14L
AMP: CJ MV-60 (EL34 version, not -SE)
SPEAKER: Alon Lotus Elite
Since then I've moved up to a used Premier 17LS2 preamp, and added a vinyl front end and Mac Mini+DAC.
I have dabbled with other preamps and amps, but always come back to the CJ stuff.

Welcome teedee55!
Nice set of equipment you got there. If you have some time perhaps you can post some pictures in the "Members System Gallery" forum? Nice to see a fellow New Englander, I live about 1 hour North of Boston!
Once again, welcome to the site, it's great to have you.
