Hi, I'm a long time CJ fan and owner of a PF-1 since I bought it new in the early 1990s at dollar for pound pricing. I know it is a low-life FET unit but I'm happy enough with the sound, and the power amps are fully tube based (although not CJ units).
I'm just getting back into hi-fi fiddling since I need to set up a modest system in another house. Unfortunately funds won't permit a CJ based system but I now have some license to swap bits of my main system, so some upgrades are in order.
Cheers,
Cosmo

Hi Cosmo,
Welcome to CJO. Sounds like you have a great start to an audiophile system. I think most of us slowly upgrade our components so there is nothing wrong with starting with one high end unit. And a PF-1 is certainly a wonderful start. Congrats.
