I recently built a good size horn system.
18" JBL sub woofers 600 wpc amp.
15" JBL Mid bass 300 wpc amp
Large RCA 9595 Horn with a JBL 2445 2" driver w/ CJ MV-100 amp.
1" Titanium tweeter with 150 wpc amp.
Incredible sound.

Sounds very interesting. Can you post a pic, I'm trying to imagine how those horns are set up?

Oh yea..
It is like an MTM with the horn in the middle and the 15 on top.
They are about 7 feet tall.
1" titanium super tweeter is mounted inside the throat of the horn.
The RCA horn has a 2" square throat so I built adapters from 5/8" aluminum plate for the JBL Titanium drivers.
Forgot to say the front end is an Esoteric P10 transport into a Musical Fidelity A3 24/192 DAC, Plus air bearing turntable.
Custom built tube preamplifier with Telefunken 12AX7's all internal silver wire and external regulated power supply.
Crossover is Ashly XR4001 with Platinum interconnects.
Simple but effective system, Also the first I have had in a long time that are Not electrostats.

Made from free speaker parts!
I am sure they would sound much better veneered in Ivory, Laughs.
These blow my Apogees, Martin Logans and Beveridges away.

Hi buck... You have my MV100 and sx1250.
To all others, I have had the pleasure of listening to this system, and it's sound is perhaps bigger then the physical size of thoes speakers would suggest. They sound great. Also, the builder is a skilled tec, and is the only guy in wi that I would trust my CJ gear with.
