Playing last night, one of the speaker spade lugs twisted around and shorted the R speaker terminals while I was out of the room. It wasn't playing too loud, but no sound. I haven't looked at it today or tried it again. Both fuses on the back are OK -- are more inside? Very, very little sound was coming out of the R speaker -- not silent but just a little. Swapped in another old NAD amp and all works good, so it's definitely the amp. I hope there's something simple inside, but I fear an output transistor is fried. No smell, at least!
Sorry to hear about what happened. If the fuses are not blown I think you need to open up the 2250 and see if you see anything with visible damage. Unfortunately, the 2250 is not in our database as of this time. If you do get a copy, please send it to me and I will update the database for others. Hope everything works out well.

Conrad johnson just redesigned their website. Clicking on a few of the vintage and current products shows they have user manuals available for download for a lot of their products. Grab them now before they change their mind.

It should be in the "Part 1" zip file. Just download the file and extract the PV9 directory.
