Hi,

I have a CJ MF2200. jeff Fischel was kind enough to send me a schematic diagram.

Have a few questions:

1) Does anyone have the same diagram identifying the different parts?

2) Can you refer me to a site in the u.s. that sells parts for this model?

I'm based in the Philippines but can purchase in the U.S. and have it shipped here.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Enrique

Hi Enrique,
Welcome to CJO, it's nice to have you with us. As for your questions:

1) You can find all our schematic files at: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=128

2) Not sure what exact parts you are looking for but probably the largest electronic component dealer I know of is https://www.parts-express.com

Good luck.

Hola Enrique,
I am buying at a very fair price, whatever I had need direct to Conrad Johnson, for any Conrad Johnson´s previous models or todays. I buy what the Company is using for their repairs.
You can go to their service web page and ask for a quotation. Also, many times that I am servicing a particular model, they give a suggestion list of what else I should change for the problem that I am fixing.
Happy listening!

Hola,
First of all, check the protection fuses. With the aid of a tester measuring continuity, just check for an open fuse. Remember to replace the fuse with the same amps rating value. Usually an open fuse is the culprit.

roberto wrote: Sun Jun 14, 2020 2:31 pm Hola,
If you have a fuse blown, usually the problem is a shorted power transistor. You have a B+ and a B-. The B+ is bias is for the NPN power transistors and the B- are the bias for the PNP transistors. Because you do know which fuse is blowing, you can find the broken and faulty stage.
Also, check the drivers for a possible short.

Enrique,
For parts, I do recommend to you to talk to service@conradjohnson.com. They will guide you better and you can buy the parts needed to repair your amp. Also, you can use good transistor substitute, remember to have more Ic collector current and also more voltage rating. Also more power dissipation. So, if you have a 20A Ic, get a replacement of 25A, and if the transistor is 100 watts, get a 150 Watts. This way you are safe
