bambadoo - If I get the occasion I will open it up and take a pic. I imagine you are scratching your head on this and want to know more. If you are interested I would call and ask for Keith at CJ. Since the work is somewhat fresh, you can use me as a reference to your question. There's more to it than what your experience has listed but Keith can clarify I believe.

Had a ground loop problem with one of my preamps. That was fixed and now it is dead silent and absolutely no transformer humming also.

According to my knowledge the only "soundwise" difference between a 2500 and a 2500A is the new discrete rectifier diodes.
