Good morning, I am writing from a translator, forgive me if I can not understand everything right.
I bought a PV 12L before I opened it and I see it needs an upgrade, and the valves are not the wearing of origin.
I wanted to know how I can get the valves source and a source capacitor to be changed to leave it as original as possible.
I also wanted you to say that if you see something that is changed for refitting the original.
Thank you very much for the help.
a greeting

Re: Conrad Johnson PV-12L Preamp help
First, let me welcome you to our site. It's great to have you with us.
As a PV12L owner myself I am a big fan of this unit. By the look of your pictures, it seems your's is in a bit worse shape than mine. That's ok. I am concerned with the look of some of those caps, if something is bulging then it should be replaced. I would probably start with plan of replacing the capacitors if you are looking to upgrade.
