CJ PV12 & MF2200 Combo Deal

Found a CJ PV12 (with phono) and MF2200 combo for sale, $1575. Is this a good deal? Will the PV12 sound better than my aging CJ Premier 2? Please let me know. Thanks.

This sounds like a very good deal. I have a PV12 (line stage only) and I really like the sound. I have heard people say that the phono stage in the PV12 is very good as well. It seems like a great bargain to get both CJ components in one sale at a very reasonable price. I think you would be very happy with the PV12 compared to the Premier 2, not to mention that the PV12 is a much newer unit so less likely to fail on you. Caps and other components do age so that should always be a consideration as well. Let us know what you decide.

There is also a 2250 on ebay right now for something like $700.

Edit: It is $799, but there is also another 2250 on auction with bit currently at $500 with two days left. (There are also ACT and GAT preamps on ebay if you want to really go for it!!).

I have a 2250A. My primary amp is a Pr11A tube amp, but the 2250A is the best SS amp I've had. I can recommend it if it is enough power for you.
