I paid 3k for my ET5. How much will you sell yours for?

Re: ET3 and ET5 Tube Rolling
Joemarsh, Don't we all live for that "Amazement" where 3 songs in we are in fast love. Look no further. My opinion is as you are seeking; find one that works and let go of bouncing tubes. Philips is as mentioned what CJ gives out or sells after the EH's start to fail. When my EH's failed i...

Re: New ART 150
Welcome to the site and I can say, hang in there as the first time my amp changed in break in was about the 100-150 hour mark and it was a noticeable and lovely change. You now have what I believe is going to be a talked about CJ Classic; the ART 150 SA

Re: Have GAT/2 and ET5 on hand need advice
Tubedude has it best. There is no wrong choice. Synergy is about all of the components. I agree the Gat2 was better than the ET5, but for the money, its hard to negotiate the differences. My Premier 16LS2.... for example,... is it better than any other? A good compromise would be ET7 if price or spe...

Re: Have GAT/2 and ET5 on hand need advice
To me the gap in price is not representative of the results. I believe the ET5 build to surpass the ET7 and my GAT2 was excellent no doubt but not worth the bump.

Re: Have GAT/2 and ET5 on hand need advice
I have had both and the ET7. Your problem was mine and I gave up the GAT2 because I felt my ears like the ET5 better. Yes GAT2 does thing different but overall sound they are CJ similar if I can put it that way. My ET5 was purchased for 3K, so it was even easier to let go of the GAT2. I"m intri...

Re: Any owners of Mark Levinson or Pass Labs and CJ Pre's
I bought a PASS XA25 and mated it with a Pass XP-10 Pre. It was at first impressive for a week. I then paired the amp with a CJ ET-5 using an AMPREX tube (6922). The CJ blew it away in all areas of dimension and spacial experience. The XA25 drives my Wilson Audio Sophia II's well enough to be full t...

Sovtek 6550 vs Tung-Sol 6550 new version
In the past I purchased a Premier 12 set that had Sovtek 6550's and had been told by another that these were not the ones to have yet my experience was that they did exactly what they say they will do. I have had the TungSol's on a Premier 140 and they were nice. I wonder if anyone has had experienc...

Re: Does anyone have EV1 User Instructions, manual?
I purchased the Black EV1 from Ebay a few weeks back. I also purchased the Black face Premier 16LS2 that was from the same lot. Thanks for the response and good luck.

Re: Is there any Teflon in this chassis? I have outlined what was believed to be Teflon Caps in blue outline
Yeah Big Dog, I let my Gat2 go so I could play with some other equipment, hence it did not move me to keep it as the sound from it was amazing and yes better than my ET7 or ET5, not in fathoms that I would want. I got rid of it, and had sold the ET7 to get it. I would have kept the ET7 and been happ...

RJ you hit the nail on the head. I also swapped out the 6922's in the ART 150 for Genelax Gold Lions and am testing that out as well. I'm not sure how I want to re tube the 16LS2 but it needs a new set.

Re: Genalex Gold Lion 6922 / E88CC Custom Tube
I second the Genelax Gold Lions. I put them in my ART 150SA when one of the Phillips went bad and was floored by how much I like the combination of the 3 6922 Genelax GL's.

In the pic of stacked stuff you see an ET5, EV1, and the 16LS2. They all arrived the same day so I wanted to test them out and see if they were is good shape.

I understand your statements and about the size n the chassis and not fitting but how do they, did they, make it into. C1? They did a few so how did they fit it?

Re: Does anyone have EV1 User Instructions, manual?
I'll answer myself.... Found One Hard Copy of the manual which is not on CJ's site for some odd reason.
