Thanks for the info! I didn’t think they would work but I figured it was at least worth a question, as some amplifiers (primarily those with autobias) will work with almost any octal power tubes, whether they are EL34/6CA7, 6550, KT88/90/100/120/150, 6L6/5881, 6V6, KT66, KT77.

Any idea if the KT-150’s would work in a CAV-50 (which normally takes EL34’s)? I doubt it but would like to know. Thanks! Eric

There are also some capacitors missing from the left and right channels of the analog output booster/buffer. They are labeled C13, C14, C19, and C20. Again, I wonder why they were deleted from the final product?

I wonder how different it sounds than the CAV-50. Same power rating. Two less tubes (no 6sn7's) and missing the two big upright can capacitors used in the CAV-50. In other words, a different circuit.
