I notice degradation in sound quality after ~2000 hours. After 2500 they definitely need replacement. When I replace the output tubes after 200o hours there is a very noticeable improvement in SQ.

V-Cap are considered amongst the best but are VERY expensive. It will probably be cheaper to send it to CJ for the upgrade with their CJD Teflon capacitors.

This is a fantastic CD. I bought it when the moving came out 25 years ago and still listen to it once in a while. Thanks for reminding me to have another listen

I have been a CJ fan and owner since the 90's starting with the PV10 preamp. I currently own the LP125SE monoblocks and the ACT2.1 preamp as well as the CA200 solid state amp powering the Sonus Faber Amati Anniversario speakers.
