Re: PCC88s vs 6922s
Yes, I've ordered from Tube store before, and definitely great service. Items arrived within 3 business days. As for shipping charges, it depends on which route: FedEx express 3-4 business days plus tracking, was close to $60 or $70 somewhere thereabouts. They do have normal rates which are lower b...

Re: Tube rolling in GAT/2
I have owned a GAT Series 2 since 2016 and it came fitted with the Philips PCC88/7DJ8 tubes. I am a UK customer and reported to the distributor/importer shortly after purchase, that one of the tubes was rather noisy! Two Philips PCC88 tubes were ordered from CJ and these have been in circuit ever si...

Re: new member from England
Sistersadie, As a fellow UK CJ user, I thought I would pass on some timely advice I recently received from Jeff Fischel, regarding a similar question posed about chassis grounding, using Russ Andrews RF Router! (Jeff's response is first and my question appears below). Hello Steve, 1. The GAT input i...

Re: My CJ-based system
Fits in nicely with the decor not too imposing. Very liberal use of stillpoints they must work for you to pay so much attention to your individual components. Am I right in thinking you have a Premier 350SA now...? Jonathan. Thanks Jonathan. Yes. Premier 350SA is my current system power amp and has...

Re: CJ Premier 350 and 350SA
Too much gain is not an issue with my GAT2/350SA. I can adjust the output of my dCS Vivaldi DAC in four increments (.2, .6, 2 & 6 Volts) so using it on the .6 Volt setting means that for normal listening levels with my 86db efficient TAD speakers, I am around 50, or halfway on the preamp volume ...

Re: My CJ-based system
The 65" LG OLED screen and Meridian Audio A/V system is "shoe-horned" into the corner at the other end of the room. Not ideal, but the hifi system takes precedence!

My CJ-based system
I am in my 60's and first became hooked on hi fi in the mid-1970's when the best system I could afford to put together was a Linn Sondek LP12/Ittok/Asak, Meridian 101 preamp with active electronic cross-overs, a six-pack of Meridian 105S power amplifiers configured for bass, mid and treble, driving ...

Re: CJ Premier 350 and 350SA
My GAT 2 sits on a grid level of one of the two Stillpoints ESS racks I have, supported by a quartet of Stillpoints Ultra SS. Power cord is a Vertex AQ Hi-Rez Roraima.

Re: CJ Premier 350 and 350SA
My Cj Premier 350SA sits on a quartet of Stillpoints Ultra 6 + Ultra Bases, on an Ikea bamboo chopping board, which in turn is supported on a Stillpoints Component Stand on a quartet of Stillpoints & Risers! Power cord is a Vertex Hi-Rez Roraima, interconnects MIT Oracle MA-X and speaker cables ...

Re: CJ Premier 350 and 350SA
Hi Xcop5089, I'm sure that's correct, interestingly I've just purchased the CJ 350sa I'm going from the CJ 250 and will be using an ET5 pre, I've just sold my ET3 wth phono and replaced that with the Tea2SE. What are your thoughts re: the Premier 350sa with the Gat....? I will be using Audio Physic...

Re: CJ Premier 350 and 350SA
I think Jasmine may be confusing the 350SA nomenclature with 350"SE" denoting "Special Edition" which is an urban myth! I have owned my CJ Premier 350SA since 2004 (purchased new from the UK official importer/distributor, Audiofreaks. It is still my main system power amp and havi...

Re: Any one thinking about a GAT Series 2 preamp?
Beautiful setup! Looks incredible. Can you give us a list of the other equipment? Thank you for your kind words. It's been a labour of love over many years! The CJ Premier 350SA power amp is the oldest component in my hi fi system, having purchased it new in 2004 from the official UK importer. I al...
