Yes, this looks like a totally stock PV-5; all original. Resistors in the phono section are all 1%. Unless something is wrong with the unit, my (humble) opinion is you will change what is iconic about the sound, and perhaps the RIAA curve. I as well would love a section for brochures and reviews. I do have some and would be happy to post. I do not have a scanner but the library has a great one. I will try to send them to Admin after I collect them up and can get them scanned.

I realize this is an old thread but others reading or searching may find a recent post addressing this useful. I just took my PV-5 out of the box after setting it aside about 6 months ago. It had developed a subtle but very apparent popcorn-popping sound mainly in one of the channels. Didn't matter ...
