Re: Repairs and/or modifications to C-J products

Just to follow-up my prior post... Both the P11 and the P11A schematics are here in the CJO zip downloads and the differences can be seen. For P11A see "Pr11 schematic cropped". For P11 see "Edscan prem 11 schematic 3" that is within the XS upgrade folder. The XS upgrade files are actually what I 'd...

Re: Repairs and/or modifications to C-J products

Wildcat, unless its been updated, that P11A schematic is what I got from CJ directly (Ed) several yrs ago and submitted here. I recall Ed also sending me some other P11 info at that time that appeared to be pre A. I'll take a look for it, but I want to say that the board circuit layout is different ...

Re: Repairs and/or modifications to C-J products

Hello Wildcat and Anyone looking for CJ service outside of CJ itself, I recently had my P11A repaired by Bob Backert/RHB Sound in Eastern PA - who I believe has been mentioned before in these forums. So I had a specific problem of weakish bass response after experiencing a pop from within the amp - ...

Re: Premier 11A mod

A little late here, but I have the 'XS' conversion info. I got the four attachments from Ed a few yrs ago. However, there is a possible conflict in that the schematic suggests a circuit leading to the output tap be removed (circled 30pF cap). This is not mentioned in the written instruction steps, a...

Re: First bad experience with CJ

Joe, While browsing the net the last couple days on my issue I came across the CJ section of the Audi_ Aficianad_ site, and noticed today that you have a few posts there as well. Do you happen to know if any CJ reps participate in chat there? I ask because I'd like to get, from CJ "management", thei...

Re: First bad experience with CJ

Thanks for the replies and input guys. Joe, I had exactly the same thought regarding the box, but by the end of conversation I could tell this guy wasn't all that interested in helping so I didn't go there. But regarding the 'not selling parts' I can't agree at all. Any reputable manufacturer of any...

First bad experience with CJ

Hi All. First post on the site. I've been a CJ product owner for more than 15yrs and had been meaning to post some past experiences/insight with CJ products I own since coming across this site - but my phone conversation yesterday with Jeff in CJ's service dept is the impetus for this post. I have a...
