Conrad Johnson discontinued to use tapped output transformers when Premier 8 was introduced. Outputs were matched for 4 ohm load as standard, at least when Premier 8, 11 and 12 were in production. There was also option to match output for 2, 8 or 16 ohm load, at least when Premier 140 was in product...
